ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs Electrical System diagrams including harnesses.
Works closely with other engineers on routing harnesses and placing electronic modules
. Programs embedded modules (logical visual programming language).
Assembles and tests experimental wiring harnesses electronic modules and other electrical equipment and components.
Troubleshoots electrical prototypes to correct functional deviations.
Diagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunctions or failures of operational equipment and performs preventive and corrective actions.
Works from wiring diagrams layout drawings and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion and performs installation.
Adjusts and replaces defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components using hand tools and soldering iron.
JOB SKILLS:
Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in EDA tools Proficient skills with analog/digital circuit design.
Lead DFMEA process.
Proficient in functional safety analysis.
Has leadership skills in coaching mentoring and guiding other engineers.
Excellent communication skills.
Must have experience and skills with Altium designer or equivalent
