Supports the development and execution ofgrowth and development activitiesfor regional hospice services.Identifiesstrategies toidentifykey marketing targets.Organizescoordinatesand delivers marking strategies.Acts as the liaison betweenthe hospice and its referral sourcesidentifyingopportunitiesfor growth andimprovement.


Essential Functions:

Growth

Coordinate and support theexecution ofmarketinginitiatives.Responsible forhospiceservicesgrowth in theregion.Works with Administrator toestablishnew growth opportunities and new services areas.

Liaison

Acts as the liaisonforthereferralsources in theregion.

Marketing

Plan and execute the ongoing marketingplan/goals.Evaluatesuniquemarketing needs fortheindividualreferralsources.

Education

Responsible forproviding educationon hospice servicestoreferral sources and/or families.

Monitoring

Monitorscensus for changes in ADCandrespondto those changesandsetsgrowth goals accordingly.

Branding

Keep marketing material up to date.Distribute marketingmaterials.Ensure a consistent and clear branding message by ensuring thatmarketing material isdisplayed appropriately.

Case Conferences

Participates in the IDGmeetings biweekly

Reporting

Reports on growth and marketing tothe Director/Administratormonthly

Budgeting

Manages marking budget monthly

NON ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addressespsychosocial cultural ethnic and religious/spiritualneedsofpatientsandtheirfamilies.Functionsasliaisonbetweenadministrationpatientsphysiciansandotherhealthcareproviders.

Maintainsagoodworkingrelationshipbothwithinthedepartmentandwithotherdepartments.Workstogetherasateamto providesafeeffectivequalitycaretoallMUSC patients.

Managesandoperatesequipmentsafelyandcorrectly.Identifieslabelsandreportsanyequipmentthatisnotfunctioning properly.

Demonstrates an ability to be flexibleorganizedand function under stressful situations.

Minimum Education and Work Experience:

Undergraduate degree preferred. 1 yearmarketing experience preferred. Nursing License Preferred.
