Job Summary

Position: SAP Basis consultant

Location: Austin TX
Work type: (Hybrid) Look for someone in Austin or nearby who can at least work 2-3 days/week from office.

Key Accountabilities:-
8 Years of Experience
Team member of the Technical Delivery SAP Basis

Strong Familiarity with SAP Hana SAP SLT SAP Celonis SAP Business Transformation Platform and related cloud integration technologies
Familiarity with cloud integration scenarios (API Gateway SSL) and authentication methods (SAML OAUTH)

Cloud migration experience in SAP Basis
SAP Migration to Azure with DS and BOBJ expertise.
Provide Operational Excellence for AMAT-Technical Delivery in the areas SAP Basis Solution Manager Monitoring Portal DB2 Database understanding and if required developing Unix-Shell and Scripting and other infrastructure elements
Work with AMAT-Technical Delivery Support Partner assess operational quality identify gaps and manage closure of gaps in SAP Basis area including
o Ensure effective Error Trend Analysis and Problem Management
o Work in AMAT SAP Basis team and provide missing technical and operational expertise for Major Incident Management and support AMAT Support Partner to close their knowledge gaps
o Provide support for Major Incident Management and ensure timely resolution of Major Incidents
o Ensure SAP functional best practices are adhered to during Incident and Problem investigation and resolution
o Provide technical feasibility and appropriateness of proposed incident & problem resolutions when alternative solutions are available
o Provide capability to perform incident & problem management resolution activities as appropriate in exceptional circumstances
o Provide appropriate assessment of SAP OSS notes with regard to relevance for AMAT Operations
o Perform detailed planning & project management of implementation activities for updates & patching where required
Perform system health audits to validate system status & report to Basis Team Lead
Perform effective Weekly Operational Review with Support Partner Basis Team
