- Work Arrangement: Hybrid role; must be local or willing to relocate to Dallas TX or Scottsdale AZ.
- Database Administration: Responsible for database management and performance tuning.
- Database Technologies: Proficient in MySQL NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB Cassandra) PostgreSQL Oracle and Spanner.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
- DevOps Tools: Familiarity with Terraform Kubernetes and Jenkins for managing cloud infrastructure.
- Performance Monitoring: Skilled in monitoring database performance and implementing optimization strategies.
- Automation: Strong scripting skills using Python Shell or PowerShell to automate tasks.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Cloud DBA.
- Production Systems: Experience tuning complex database systems at application database and system levels in production environments.
- Disaster Recovery: Capable of designing and implementing disaster recovery solutions to meet business objectives.
- Backup & Recovery: Experience with database backup and recovery processes.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
