Position Overview

We are seeking a Power Platform Developer to design and implement automation-driven solutions within a State Government agency. The candidate will develop low-code applications and workflows that enhance operational efficiency while ensuring data security and governance compliance. The selected resource must demonstrate hands-on expertise in building scalable PowerApps solutions integrated with enterprise data sources. This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders to translate process inefficiencies into automation solutions. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing deployments and ensuring compliance with agency IT standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven) to streamline agency workflows.
• Build Power Automate workflows to automate business processes.
• Develop Power BI dashboards to present actionable insights to leadership.
• Integrate solutions with SharePoint Online and external APIs.
• Implement role-based security using Azure AD.
• Document solution architecture and deployment procedures.
• Conduct user training sessions and provide post-deployment support.
• Optimize performance and maintain governance controls.
• Support testing UAT and production deployment activities.
• Maintain version control and environment configuration.

Required Qualifications

• 4 years of hands-on Power Platform development experience.
• Demonstrated experience building automated workflows.
• Experience integrating Power Platform with enterprise systems.
• Experience implementing data validation and security controls.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Experience documenting technical solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize deployed solutions.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong SQL or data integration knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in State Government IT projects.
• Experience integrating Azure services.
• Microsoft certifications in Power Platform.
