About the Role
DoorDash is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help scale our growing healthcare business. As an outbound BDR you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective healthcare customers playing a critical role in building and expanding our sales pipeline.
In this role you will proactively engage decision-makers at healthcare organizations generate qualified leads and partner closely with the sales team to drive new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify high-potential healthcare organizations through outbound calls emails and LinkedIn outreach
- Engage decision-makers to understand their healthcare logistics challenges and business needs
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings and product demos for Account Executives
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities to support revenue growth
- Manage and accurately track outreach activities and pipeline progression in CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing sales and strategy teams to refine messaging and optimize target segments
- Continuously test and improve outbound messaging and campaign effectiveness
What Were Looking For
- 2 years of experience in sales business development or outbound prospecting
- Proven track record of consistent measurable overachievement against targets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers
- High level of curiosity and eagerness to learn about the healthcare and logistics industries
- Strong ownership mindset resilience and grit
- Desire to build and grow a long-term career in sales
