As a Microsoft Power Apps Developer supporting a key Randstad client in the Washington DC area you will serve as a critical bridge between enterprise governance and technical execution. This role is designed for a proactive professional who can navigate the complexities of a large-scale Power Platform environment ensuring that citizen-led innovation remains secure stable and scalable. You will be responsible for defining the strategic intent of environments establishing robust security boundaries and providing the technical hand-on-keyboard expertise needed to remediate fragile automations and optimize connector configurations. This is a high-impact position that blends platform architecture with operational excellence to support the digital transformation of a major enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Environment Strategy: Define and manage environment intent (Development vs. Production) and establish promotion paths for application lifecycles.
- Governance & Access: Set maker access boundaries and implement role-based permissions (RBAC) aligned with enterprise data patterns.
- Connector Oversight: Manage approved connector usage and remediate misconfigured credentials or API connections to ensure data integrity.
- Platform Remediation: Identify and fix fragile or failing automations improving error handling and monitoring for critical business flows.
- ALM & Supportability: Establish clear expectations for application ownership support models and transition-to-production protocols.
- Operational Alignment: Align platform access controls with enterprise security standards and clarify operational responsibilities across business units.
Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience developing and managing solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate and Dataverse).
- Governance Expertise: Proven track record of implementing Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) starter kit principles and environment strategies.
- Security Mindset: Strong understanding of Azure AD (Entra ID) DLP policies and identity management within a cloud ecosystem.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to debug complex workflows manage API connectors and optimize automated business processes.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate with stakeholders in the DC area clarifying ownership and maker expectations.
- Local Requirement: Ability to work on-site or in a hybrid capacity in Washington DC as required by the client.
