Position: Quality Manager
Location: Hilton Head Island SC
Type: Full-time On-site
Summary:
Quality Manager oversees all aspects of quality assurance ensuring manufactured parts meet strict engineering specifications and quality standards (e.g. ISO9001 AS9100). Key responsibilities include maintaining QMS documentation managing inspectors conducting Root Cause Analysis/CAPA performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) and reducing scrap/rework through process improvements.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Quality Manager within a precision machining/machine shop environment (typically 3-5 years) with aerospace experience often preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) blueprint reading and CAD models.
- Certifications: Knowledge of ISO9001 AS9100 and NDT techniques (e.g. NADCAP).
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing or a related field is often required or equivalent industry experience.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with inspection software (e.g. PC-DMIS) and ERP systems.
