Location : Milwaukee WI (Onsite)

Term : W2/Full Time Role

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Fivetran Data Ingestion Engineer to design implement and manage automated data pipelines using Fivetran. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in data integration ETL/ELT processes cloud data warehouses and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data ingestion pipelines using Fivetran
Configure and manage Fivetran connectors (SaaS apps databases APIs files)
Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures and data sync issues
Optimize data loads for performance and cost efficiency
Work closely with Data Engineers Analysts and Business teams
Implement best practices for data governance security and compliance
Perform incremental loads schema changes handling and transformations
Integrate Fivetran with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift
Maintain documentation for data flows and architecture

Required Skills

3 years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL
Hands-on experience with Fivetran
Strong understanding of ELT concepts
Experience with cloud data warehouses:
- Snowflake
- Amazon Redshift
- Google BigQuery
Strong SQL skills
Experience with APIs JSON REST-based integrations
Understanding of data modeling concepts
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Preferred Skills

Experience with dbt for transformations
Knowledge of Airflow or other orchestration tools
Python scripting knowledge
Experience in handling large-scale data pipelines
Knowledge of data security & compliance (HIPAA SOC2)

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or related field.
