Job Summary:
We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a contract assignment providing evaluations and treatments across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role requires strong clinical independence comprehensive care planning and the ability to manage a diverse patient population in both acute and rehabilitation environments.

Assignment Details:

Contract duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday standard daytime hours with flexibility as needed
Saturday coverage required (must be available)
Setting mix: Approximately 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient
Patient volume: Approximately 5 15 patients per day (new evaluations typically scheduled for one hour; follow-ups every 30 45 minutes)

Acute care (including ICU and ER)
Medical-Surgical units
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Long Term Care
Assisted Living
Outpatient therapy clinic
Occasional specialty unit coverage as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Perform PT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions across inpatient and outpatient populations
Support mobility progression from acute care through post-acute settings
Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
Document treatments and patient progress accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Deliver care independently while maintaining high clinical standards

Requirements:

Active State PT license required by start of assignment (must obtain promptly if not currently active)
Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience
Experience across multiple care settings preferred (acute and outpatient)
Ability to work independently in a rural or resource-variable environment
Availability to work Saturdays

Required Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)

Additional Information:

Holiday pay based on hours worked on designated holidays
Must complete onboarding and required pre-employment health clearance prior to start
