Job Summary

Job Title: UX Designer & UX Researcher
Job Location: Spring TX
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Conduct end-to-end UX research including user interviews usability testing surveys and persona development
Facilitate workshops brainstorming sessions and design thinking exercises using tools such as Mural
Create wireframes prototypes journey maps user flows and high-fidelity designs
Apply strong visual design principles and modern visual art forms to enhance user experience
Analyze user behavior and research findings to provide actionable insights
Collaborate with product managers developers and stakeholders to align UX strategies with business goals
Present research findings and design solutions clearly to leadership and stakeholders
Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and enterprise UX standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5 years of experience in UX Design and UX Research
Strong experience with Mural and collaborative design tools
Proficiency in Figma Sketch Adobe XD or similar design tools
Strong understanding of visual design typography color theory and layout principles
Experience conducting usability testing and synthesizing research insights
Ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred:

Experience working with large enterprise clients (Oil & Gas industry experience is a plus)
Background in human-centered design and design thinking methodologies
