As a Security Officer - Entry Control Weekdays in Elm Grove WI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors drivers and employees by following Allied Universal site-specific policies access control procedures and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Control entry and exit at the access point by verifying identification managing visitor and vendor check-in and/or check-out issuing temporary credentials as directed and maintaining required access logs.
- Support logistics and distribution operations by coordinating with dispatch and site contacts to route inbound and outbound truck traffic confirming appointment information and directing vehicles to designated staging and dock areas.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services when required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas yard space and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require reporting or corrective action.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
