Where We Need You:
Protiviti UKs Technology Risk & Resilience practice is a part of our overall Technology Consulting Division. The practice includes coverage of focussed disciplines such as information and technology risk management third party risk technology risk governance operational and technologyresilienceand cyber security risk management.
You will be part of the Technology Consulting solution that provides innovative solutions to complex technology challenges. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needsdesignand implement technology strategies and support successful project delivery. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams utilisingcutting-edgetechnologies and contributing to the growth of the Technology Consulting practice. At Protiviti we pride ourselves on our lack of siloes so you will be an integrated part of our Technology Consulting practice with opportunity toleverageyour skills across a variety of projects not just limited to a single area.
Key Responsibilities
What You Can Expect:
TheSenior Consultantrolehas primary responsibility for supervision of consultants in project work plansor as the main delivery role in more complex engagements. The Senior Consultant has direct client-facing engagement responsibilities. Serving as both role model and trainer the Senior Consultantdemonstratesthe attributes of excellent client service andassiststeam members in developing technical and professional competency. The Senior Consultant learns toidentifyareas of risk and opportunities to improve business processes.
Assess our clients technology environments by designingimplementingand executing technology risk assessments from both a technical and business point of view conducting reviews of IT processes risks and controls.
Review systemsand technology governanceagainstrecognised industry standards like ITIL COBIT NISTSOC2ISO etc.
Participate in providing insights suggesting practical solutions that enhance business and technology performance streamline operations and bolster risk management.
Build technology risk frameworksacross first and second lines of defence.
Assume responsibility for the seamless delivery of multiple projects end-to-end while coaching junior team members mentoringindividualsand reporting to senior leadership.
Build strong client relationships with a view toidentifyingadditionalbusiness opportunities to aid in the development of our technology risk and resilience services.
Do Your Talents Include the Following
Experience in a consulting environment orindustrywith a focus on Technology related risks. Indicative areas of expertise include but are not limited to:
A strong foundationin IT project management/service delivery operational/IT riskmanagementor consulting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to synthesise analyse information and develop structured reportscontainingfindings and recommendations.
The ability to work autonomously with an outcome-based delivery mindset.
Ability to lead fieldwork by directing daily delivery informing managers of engagement status and supervision of junior staff members.
Aptitude to collaborate effectively with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop project delivery plans risk assessments budgettrackersand other engagement management documents.
Strong project management skills inspire teamwork and drive responsibility and accountability with engagement team members.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems. Use knowledge of Clients IT environments and industry IT trends toidentifyservice and control issues and be able to effectively communicate this information to the engagement team and client management.
Able to engage with a wide range of client stakeholders and translate technology issues into clear and concise business language for non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge and application of industry standard frameworks such asCoBITframework ISO27001 NIST CSFSOC2ITIL

Remunerationand Benefits
Starting salaries are competitive and arebased on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in thesalaryrange is dependent upon experienceskillsand geographic work location.
