Job Summary
We are seeking a professional licensed and guest-focused Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our spa team within a hotel environment. TheLMT will provide high-quality massage and body treatments to hotel guests and spa clients ensuring exceptional service safety and comfort in a welcoming hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Treatment & Care
Perform professional massage services and body treatments in accordance with Sailaway Spa service standards.
Offer a variety of massage modalities appropriate to client needs (e.g. Swedish deep tissue relaxation techniques specialty treatments).
Conduct client consultations to understand wellness preferences health conditions and massage goals.
Recommend and customize treatments based on guest needs and comfort.
Maintain accurate client treatment records and notes as required by hotel/spa policies.
Service Experience
Create a relaxing professional and hospitable atmosphere consistent with The Admirals Inn service values.
Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and explain post-treatment guidance and wellness practices.
Ensure client safety and comfort during each session; adjust services appropriately.
Spa Environment & Operations
Prepare treatment spaces including setup of linens oils and equipment; maintain cleanliness and organization.
Follow all health safety and sanitation standards under state licensing requirements.
Communicate effectively with front-of-house and spa staff to coordinate bookings and guest experiences.
Required Qualifications
Valid Maine Massage Therapy License (LMT) or eligibility as required by state regulation.
Proven experience in delivering professional massage treatments in a spa resort or hospitality setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain spa treatment records accurately.
Available to work flexible hours including weekends and peak season shifts.

Knowledge of a range of massage techniques and bodywork modalities.
