Job Description
As a Security Officer - Hotel Concierge Overnightsin Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort front desk where you will welcome guests manage access control and badge procedures monitor activity through security-related systems and respond to incidents with clear communication and professionalism. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests visitors and staff at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Control access to the location by greeting and screening visitors verifying identification as required issuing visitor credentials and directing individuals to the appropriate areas.
- Monitor lobby activity and front entrance conditions report suspicious or unusual behavior and help to deter unauthorized access through visible presence and professional communication.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting on-site management and/or emergency services when needed and completing required notifications.
- Operate and monitor security-related systems at the front desk such as phones radios CCTV and alarm panels and complete accurate shift logs and incident reports per Allied Universal requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
