We are hiring immediately for an Technician I - Electrical (Nightshift) in our Service Center in North Houston TX- A role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity heating and cooling they need.

What youll do:
Youll be based out of our North Houston TX service center
Youll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends and there is a potential for travel
You will work on 100kw-6000kw resistive & resistive/reactive load banks.
Assemble install test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring equipment using hand tools and power tools
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring and equipment using standard testing devices such as ohmmeters voltmeters meggers as well as observing functions to ensure compatibility and safety of components
You will either work on your own or teamed up with a technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop
Were Experts. You will have the following experience:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent years of work experience.
2-5 years of relevant work experience in the installation repair and maintenance of electrical switchgear this will include both low volt and medium voltage power distribution gear. Should have knowledge with protection relays and meters
PC literacy in a Microsoft and/or ERP environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Positive self- starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality
Reliable and committed to delivering quality performance
Available to work overtime
Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 50 lbs.
