Job Summary
Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Civil cum Interior Engineer to manage end-to-end site execution for our residential/commercial projects. The role involves coordinating supervising and executing both civil construction works and interior fit-out projects ensuring high-quality standards adhering to technical specifications and managing contractors to deliver on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Execution (Civil & Finishing):Supervise day-to-day site activities including structural work masonry plastering flooring tiling waterproofing painting and POP works.
- Interior Fit-out Supervision:Manage specialized interior works including false ceilings partitions carpentry modular furniture installation lighting and electrical fit-outs.
- Drawing Interpretation:Read understand and implement architectural structural and interior design drawings to ensure the accurate execution of planned designs.
- Coordination & Management:Act as the liaison between architects designers contractors vendors and laborers to ensure smooth uninterrupted workflow.
- Quality Control & Snagging:Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards and identify/resolve deviations (snags) instantly.
- Material Management:Handle procurement tracking and efficient usage of material to minimize wastage.
- Documentation & Reporting:Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR) weekly reports site photographs and updated checklists to update management.
- Bill Verification:Check and verify contractor measurements quantity take-offs (BOQ) and bills.
- Safety Compliance:Enforce strict health safety and environmental protocols on site.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:B.E./ or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience:26 years of proven experience in site execution specifically in high-end residential commercial or corporate interior fit-out projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD to read and modify drawings.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials (wood glass metal stone).
- Familiarity with MS Office (Excel for tracking and reports).
- Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to handle on-site challenges.
- Strong verbal communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for finishing quality.3
Working Conditions
- Full-time site-based role.
- Frequent travel across sites may be required.
