Job Description
As a Security Officer - Healthcare Sitein Cincinnati OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff patients and visitors with strong customer service communicate clearly during incidents and document observations with accurate reports. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings corridors parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access by monitoring entrances checking identification and/or visitor authorization as required and directing visitors to appropriate destinations based on site procedures.
- Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts and support patient privacy practices in accordance with facility guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
