Theyre seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead technology procurement strategy particularly for software solutions used in trading and brokerage operations. If you have proven expertise in technology category management commercial acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders across complex IT contracts this role offers the opportunity to shape procurement strategy at scale.

Position Overview

As Category Manager youll lead end-to-end sourcing strategy for technology sub-categories driving commercial value whilst embedding sustainability and responsible business practices across the supply chain. This role is pivotal in managing third-party risks negotiating enterprise infrastructure contracts and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders globally. Your work will directly contribute to the organisations net zero ambitions and commitment to responsible procurement practices across its operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and planning for technology procurement sub-categories focusing on software solutions for trading and brokerage platforms
• Drive source-to-contract services to deliver competitive advantage and commercial value
• Manage third-party risk assessment and mitigation across all technology category contracts
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for enterprise infrastructure requirements
• Negotiate high-value complex IT contracts with internal and external stakeholders
• Embed environmental social and governance principles into category strategies and supplier relationships
• Build and maintain a global stakeholder network to support business outcomes
• Lead cross-functional sourcing projects from initiation through implementation and review

Requirements

• Proven experience in technology category management with specific expertise in software procurement (on-premise and SaaS solutions)
• Demonstrated success leading high-value complex IT contract negotiations
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and deliver cost savings and lifecycle value
• Proven ability to influence and manage relationships across multiple stakeholder groups
• Robust understanding of the financial services industry and third-party contract frameworks
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
• Experience embedding sustainability and responsible business practices into procurement decisions
• Knowledge of supply chain risk management and mitigation strategies
