Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute sub-acute aged care and community services.

We are seeking a Clinical Lead for our Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) colorectal and gynaecological program to provide clinical leadership strategic direction and oversight for the implementation and ongoing management of the ERAS pathway. This role works collaboratively with surgeons anaesthetists nursing staff and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated evidence-based perioperative care that improves patient outcomes and supports optimal recovery.

The Clinical Lead will be responsible for establishing and maintaining clinical protocols supporting patient education initiatives overseeing data collection and audit processes and fostering effective communication across the multidisciplinary team. By standardising care and driving continuous improvement this role plays a key part in enhancing recovery outcomes for patients undergoing colorectal and gynaecological surgery.
