This role operates under the supervision of the Preschool Director and is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in developing and implementing a program of activities that promotes the social and emotional development of skills and academic achievements. An assistant teacher must have an understanding of team ministry and an attitude that exemplifies working as one within the school ministry.
Each assistant teacher embraces opportunities to witness a Christian faith to the school family community and each other. Each teacher is regularly involved in Christian worship and Bible study.

Tasks
Supervision Exercised
Assistant teacher supervises students in the classroom on the school campus and off-campus at school related
activities. Assistant teacher may also monitor the activities of classroom volunteers.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a school setting. The noise level is moderate. The physical demands described are
