Job Summary

Asset Integrity Engineer

Gloucestershire Manufacturing site-based

Day shift Monday - Friday - Full time permanent - 45000 benefits

Due to continued investment and a focus on operational excellence a well-established UK manufacturing business is looking to appoint an Asset Integrity Engineer. This role strengthens the maintenance function by ensuring full legislative compliance across site assets while leading maintenance-led improvement and capital projects.

You will act as the compliance lead for statutory inspections contractor control and remedial tracking while also coordinating improvement initiatives that enhance reliability safety and performance.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver maintenance-related projects and site improvement initiatives

Ensure full compliance across lifting equipment LEV pressure systems process water racking and statutory inspections

Manage Energy Centre boiler and steam system compliance activities

Oversee contractor control including permits RAMS insurance verification and site standards

Maintain and manage remedial tracking systems ensuring actions are closed within agreed timescales

Lead risk assessments and ensure recommendations are implemented

Support CMMS planning and coordination of complex maintenance activities

Drive reliability improvements including MTTR and MTBF performance

Develop and refine compliance procedures and SOPs

Support delivery of maintenance KPIs and departmental strategy

The Person

Technical / Engineering background within a manufacturing or industrial environment

Strong understanding of statutory compliance requirements (LOLER PUWER Pressure Systems etc.)

Experience managing contractors and site compliance documentation

Confident coordinating projects and driving improvement initiatives

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver through others

Comfortable working cross-functionally with production engineering and external suppliers
