What is really unique about Limestone Coast is that we split the brewing process between our central Hub in Malaga and our range of venues around the state.

It is in this hub in Malaga where your new role will be primarily based however you will also be out in the field attending our various venues around the state. You will get the best of both worlds working in a small craft brewery where you can make a personal difference while working with industry leading brewers the latest brewing technology and automation. The patented computerised technology and innovating brewing practices allows a brewer to focus on his or her craft and spend far less time on the mundane tasks a more manual set up would require from the crew. Onsite they also have a miniature version of the brewhouse with similar automation which really allows your creative juices to flow with experimental batches.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Experienced Brewer to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our brewing operations you will be responsible for crafting high-quality innovative beers using our state-of- the-art brewing technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brewing and a passion for developing new recipes and techniques.

Your role will include:

Oversee all aspects of the brewing process from recipe development to packaging.

Maintain strict quality control standards to ensure consistency and excellence in our products.

Recipe creation modification and perfection.

Collaborate with the team to develop and implement innovative brewing techniques and processes.

Contribution to all continuous improvement and innovation in a team environment.

Troubleshoot brewing issues and develop solutions to optimize efficiency.

Brewing Yeast Handling Centrifuge/filtration raw material and chemical handling.

Performing secondary brewing tasks including milling and grain out.

Cellar and fermentation management; including tank sampling and analysis.

Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols sanitation standards and regulatory requirements.

Essentially any and all duties to facilitate the brewing operations as needed.

Actively engage in continuous learning and development opportunities in the craft beer industry.

Requirements

Essential

Previous meaningful commercial brewing or relevant brewing experience.

Formal brewing education or relevant certifications are strongly preferred

A serious passion for craft beer and a deep understanding of all things brewing.

A lifelong commitment to learning and personal growth.

Strong attention to detail problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality

Great work ethic no job is too small or unimportant.

Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Open transparent team player who thrives on Team success.

Desirable

Forklift Licence (or be willing to attain one)

LH Drivers License (or be willing to attain one)
