As a Locum Radiologist you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced imaging techniques. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays MRIs and CT scans
- Interpret and analyze imaging results to provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
- Provide guidance and support to medical staff regarding imaging protocols
- Participate in continuous education and training programs
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Current board certification in Radiology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York
- Previous experience in a clinical radiology setting
- Strong knowledge of imaging technologies and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient care and professional integrity
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Skillsets: Body MSK or neuro
DX teleradiology coverage
EMR: Epic and Sectra
Must be board-certified
