We areseekinga motivated and detail-oriented Systems & Test Engineering Summer Intern to join ourmedical device newproductdevelopment (NPD) team. This role offers hands-on experience supporting the development of test methods test fixtures and verification activities for innovative medical technologies. The intern will collaborate cross-functionally with systems mechanical electrical and quality engineers to ensure products meet performance safety and regulatory requirements.

In This Role You Will:

• Support development of verification test methods aligned with product requirements and risk controls
• Assistin designing building and validating test fixtures and setups for functional performance and reliability testing
• Execute verification testing and document resultsin accordance withquality system procedures
• Analyze test data with statistical methods and summarize findings in clear concise reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional NPD teams to troubleshoot issues and refine test approaches
• Contribute to design reviews by providing test strategy input
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory standards (e.g. FDA ISO 13485) and internal quality procedures

Requirements:

• Education:Currentlypursuing a Bachelors orMasters degree in Biomedical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Systems Engineering or related field
• Incoming Junior or Senior preferred

• Ability to interpret technical drawings specifications and engineering requirements
• Proficiencywith Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with laboratory testing or instrumentation
• Exposure to CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks Creo)
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB Python Minitab)
• Understanding of design controls and medical device regulatory frameworks
