Repairs upholstered furniture such as chairs sofas drapes window hardware gaming table rails slot stools and gaming table chairs. Maintains all casino furnishings. Lifts and moves materials and furniture being repaired; i.e. sofas etc. and repairs items in the shop area. Identifies damages and needed repairs for upholstered items. Measures and cuts required amount of materials and repairs as necessary. Keeps Lead informed of inventory of all materials and equipment necessary to perform job duties. Maintains Preventive Maintenance Program. Completes special assignments for management as requested.
High school diploma or equivalency certificate. Ability to repair and/or rebuild all upholstered items such as furniture bar arm rests and works with minimal supervision. Minimum three years Upholstery experience using various types of cloth and vinyl materials. NJ CER REQUIRED
