As a Inmate Transport in Milwaukee WI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Must be 21 years of age and must have a valid drivers license

Prior Law Enforcement or Military or Corrections or a minimum an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice required

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to government personnel and the public by following site-specific security-related procedures and post orders for inmate movement and transport operations.
• Assist with loading escorting and/or unloading inmates during transports and facility transfers following authorized restraint and chain-of-custody processes and maintaining professional communication at all times.
• Conduct security-related checks of transport vehicles equipment and assigned areas such as staging points and/or vehicle bays; report maintenance or operational concerns per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting staff with de-escalation emergency notifications and/or access control actions as directed.
• Complete required logs counts and incident documentation; communicate status updates via radio and/or phone to appropriate personnel in accordance with government facility procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• A college degree is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age.
• A corrections officer license is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
