Your work environment at EXP
In this role you will be a part of theProject Managementteam of theEntertainment sector based inMaitland Florida.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Apply risk management procedures daily to minimize exps and clients exposure to problems
- Understand MEP/FP work planning and manage design process to the available hours in work plan
- Understand proper scope of MEP/FP SD DD CD level documents and deliver appropriate documentation
- Work with project manager and Clients to meet scheduled project milestones of multiple projects
- Manage and deliver revisions (ASIs etc) and sketches according to proper numbering convention
- Edit and develop scope of work narratives (SD narrative basis of design etc)
- Market Sector Understands specific engineering requirements for applications within a market sector
- Perform at a responsible charge level; meeting exps design and quality levels
- QA/QC reviews of all calculations by designers and provide guidance and mentoring
- Determine content of drawings and specs for Designers in order to meet the scope of work
- Develop and monitor work plans in conjunction with other Project Managers
- Review code related items with Designers and ensure compliance
- Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours
Facilitate and coordinate communication amongst the design team to help meet project goals
Preparation and distribution of in-house and external meeting minutes
Tracking scope and design changes
Oversee coordination amongst trades and with our clients
Review and monitor weekly construction administration issues
Provide management review of drawings and specifications as design progresses to ensure compliance with client expectations
What your experience looks like
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- Candidate should have an engineering degree in a relevant field of engineering with 5 years of building design experience
- EIT or Registered Professional Engineer preferred
- Experience designing in Hospitality Healthcare or Federal preferred
