As a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant you will play a key role in shaping and optimizing a high-performance ERP landscape within an international and industrial environment.
You will act as a key expert combining functional consulting solution design and hands-on configuration while working closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- Advise on and design optimized business processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Support international rollouts and multi-company setups including localization requirements
- Perform fit-gap analyses and define functional and technical requirements
- Configure and customize Business Central (workflows roles extensions document layouts)
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for complex issues
- Develop solution designs and technical specifications in collaboration with developers
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and key users
- Support data migration activities including migration rules and test imports
- Manage and execute testing phases including test case documentation and user validation
- Contribute to go-live including cutover hypercare and stabilization
- Create documentation training materials and support user adoption
- Collaborate with ERP teams business analysts and external partners
- Ensure a robust and high-performing ERP system landscape
We are looking for:
Proven experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant
Strong knowledge of BC standard functionalities and manufacturing / industrial processes
Experience with ERP rollouts implementations or upgrades
Good understanding of interfaces extensions and system updates
Strong ability to design pragmatic and business-oriented solutions
Hands-on mindset (not purely conceptual)
Comfortable working with stakeholders business users and external partners
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Good command of German and English
Nice to have :
Experience with multi-company environments
Knowledge of integrations (API EDI etc.)
Familiarity with ERP support (2nd / 3rd level)
Experience in manufacturing environments
Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365
Knowledge of Power Platform
