Job Summary
Senior Python Developer
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with 9 years of handson experience in designing developing and maintaining robust software solutions. The ideal candidate excels in backend development API design and modern engineering best practices and can collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test and maintain highquality Python applications.
- Build scalable backend services APIs and automation scripts.
- Collaborate closely with product owners QA engineers DevOps and other stakeholders.
- Write clean efficient and reusable code following industry best practices.
- Integrate thirdparty services APIs and external data sources into applications.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across multiple layers of the application stack.
- Participate in code reviews and help elevate engineering standards across the team.
- Optimize applications for performance scalability and security.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 9 years of professional experience in software development with strong expertise in Python 3.x.
- Proven experience with frameworks such as Django Flask or FastAPI.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs microservices architecture and modern web application principles.
- Handson experience with Pandas NumPy or similar data processing libraries (if the role involves data workloads).
- Familiarity with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL plus optional exposure to NoSQL data stores.
- Strong knowledge of Git CI/CD pipelines and contemporary development workflows.
- Deep understanding of objectoriented programming and software design principles.
- Ability to write comprehensive unit tests and maintain high code quality.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
