Core Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive evaluations of upperâextremity injuries and conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide postâoperative care including wound care and customized protocols.
Fabricate custom orthoses/splints as needed.
Document treatment progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
Collaborate with surgeons physicians and interdisciplinary colleagues.
Educate patients and families on care prevention and home exercise programs.

Requirements:

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) in good standing.
Experience in hand therapy and upperâextremity rehabilitation.
CHT certification preferred (or candidate actively pursuing certification).
Strong manual therapy splinting and clinical reasoning skills.
Excellent communication and patientâeducation abilities.
Postâsurgical hand and wrist rehabilitation
Custom splint fabrication
Treatment of fractures tendon injuries nerve repairs arthritis and overuse injuries
Knowledge of current evidenceâbased hand therapy practices
