Role Overview
We are looking for a seasonedSoftware Architectto join ourProductArchitecture and Engineeringteam and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Nu Skins globalaccount anduser profile managementplatformas a serviceallowing seamless access to the various customer facingweb mobile and AIplatforms provided by Nu Skin. You will help define and enforce architecture standardsleadingby example in design and code and guidingour distributed engineering teamsboth local and offshorethrough modern cloud-native software development.
The Product Architect (PA) also referred to as the Solution Architect (SA)isresponsible fordefining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision to help ensure the solution under development willfitits intended purpose.You willplaya critical role indelivering global solutionsbycollaborating with Business Product Owners other architectsand developmentteams.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and Maintain enterprise-scale IAM solutionsincluding for customers globally
Collaborate with architects product managers and engineering teams to design scalable AI-native applications with integrated agentic workflows and GenAI capabilities across web and backend systems.
Architect Enterprise Identity Roadmaps: Lead the long-term strategic direction of the IAM program ensuring identity initiatives align with global business goals and security frameworks.
Design High-Scale CIAM Architectures: Spearhead the design of highly scalable Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions.
Serve as a technical leader on projects involving Reactand with deep integration of GenAI services (e.g. Claude OpenAI AWS Bedrock etc.) on the AWS platform.
Champion architecture best practices in agent orchestration serverless computing (e.g. AWS Lambda) containerization (e.g. Kubernetes) and cloud-native design with AI-aware components.
Lead CI/CD automation strategies with AI-assisted testing and deployment workflows; define quality gates for prompt engineering LLM output validation and safety guardrails.
Translate complex AI/ML conceptsincluding agent state management context windows prompt chaining and embeddingsinto clear technical guidance for globally distributed development teams.
Conduct architecture reviews code inspections and hands-on support for teams building AI-driven features and workflows.
Stay at the forefront of Generative AI and Agentic AI trends;leadthe exploration and responsible adoption of innovative solutions to elevate Nu Skins digital and intelligent platform strategy.
Qualifications
Required:
10 years of software development experience with at least 3 years in a senior or principal engineering/architect role.
ExpertiseinReactand.Basic understanding of Javais a plus.
Proven experience withAWS servicesincluding Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB ECS/EKS S3 and CloudWatch.
Experience withIdentity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) applications such as Okta or AWS Cognito designed to handle authentication authorization and user management
Hands-on experienceusingCI/CD tools version control (Git) and test automation (e.g.JestGitLab CIGitHub CodePipeline).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills especially in working withoffshore development teamsacross multiple time zones.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a mindset for scalability performance and security.
Preferred:
Experience ine-commercemarketing technologyaccountmanagement orCRM systems.
Experience working inmulti-team Agile environments.
Familiarity withmicro-servicesarchitectures.
Experience withdomain-driven design (DDD)orevent-driven architectures.
Experience withGenAI frameworks APIs or integrationinto web and backend platforms.
