Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Driver in Pearland TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location you will conduct high-visibility rounds respond to incidents and support a welcoming customer experience through clear communication. This post requires a valid drivers license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements and you will carry the appropriate armed guard credentials while following site procedures. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests and store associates by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with state requirements post orders and Allied Universal policies.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location including sales floor entrances loading areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify suspicious conditions.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or requests for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner using de-escalation techniques and coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
- Complete detailed security-related reports incident documentation and shift logs; communicate observations and/or concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Possess Level III armed certification for Texas only.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
