Job Summary
You will be dedicated to emission and energy efficiency test cell work as described:
Start-up and shutdown of facilities:
- Chassis Dyno control systems (warm-up and preparation)
- Engine ECU data acquisition equipment
- Exhaust gas analysis and acquisition equipment
- Perform safety check before testing (follow check sheets)
- Install/exchange gas bottles for analyzers
- Support consumption follow-up and daily/weekly clean-up
Vehicle preparation:
- Install acquisition equipment to full operational state
- Drain and refill fuel tank with correct test fuel
- Connect devices and power sources to guarantee no data loss
Emission tests:
- Install car on dyno with additional measuring equipment (smoke opacity SOx analyser data acquisition etc.)
- Prepare emission test analyser chassis dyno and test cell temperature
- Perform emission tests on different driving cycles and Coast down
- Ensure data availability on ECU and chassis dyno systems
- Complete daily chassis dyno occupation documents
- Conduct performance tests in Climatic Chamber (various temperatures)
Shift work: Daytime / Eveningtime
Qualifications :
Your Profile:
- Valuable experience in similar working area and automotive workshop
- Vocational training in Automotive Mechanics or similar (highly valuable)
- Experience in basic vehicle maintenance (wheels brakes battery & fluids)
- Work independently organized proactive and resolutive
- Team oriented
- MS-Office basic level
Languages:
- Minimum B2 English level
- Added value if other language
