As the Head Mixologist you will be responsible for crafting an exquisite and ever-evolving beverage menu that sets our establishment apart in the vibrant culinary scene of Bandung. This role requires a deep understanding of the latest market trends a keen eye for detail and an expert touch in the art of mixology.
- Create and perfect signature cocktails that showcase creativity and reflect local flavors
- Develop and maintain an innovative cocktail menu staying ahead of industry trends
- Train and mentor the bar team to ensure exceptional service and consistency
- Oversee bar operations including inventory management and cost control
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure cohesive food and beverage pairings
- Implement and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the bar area
- Engage with customers to provide a memorable and personalized experience
- Stay updated on global and local beverage trends incorporating them into our offerings
- Participate in mixology competitions and industry events to enhance the establishments reputation
- Contribute to marketing initiatives by creating signature drinks for special events and promotions
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Food and Beverage Management or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end mixology preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale establishment
- Proven expertise in creating and presenting artisanal cocktails
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Deep understanding of current beverage trends and the ability to innovate
- Extensive knowledge of spirits liqueurs and cocktail ingredients
- Familiarity with local Indonesian flavors and ingredients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
- Food safety certification and alcohol service certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
