Job Summary
Due to the hotels increase in business we are now looking for someone else to join our Night Team in Ipswich United Kingdom. As a Night Auditor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift managing front desk duties performing financial reconciliations and providing exceptional guest services.
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting
- Manage front desk operations including check-ins and check-outs
- Provide outstanding guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and hotel public spaces
- Prepare reports for management detailing occupancy rates revenue and other key metrics
- Handle phone calls professionally and courteously ensuring a positive experience for callers
- Assist with administrative tasks as required during the night shift
- Ensure the security and safety of guests and hotel property during overnight hours
- Collaborate with other departments to address any guest concerns or maintenance issues
- Stay up-to-date with hotel policies promotions and local area information to assist guests effectively
- 32 to 40 hours on a zero hour contract
- Always hours available
- Must be fully flexible
- Must live in the UK
Qualifications :
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency in financial reconciliation and basic accounting principles
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of efficiency during night shifts
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in hotel management software
- Flexibility to work overnight hours weekends and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree in hospitality management is a plus
- Previous hotel experience is helpful but not essential
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently
- Professional demeanor and a positive attitude
- The use of Opera cloud would be useful

Day shifts and shifts in our restaurant maybe available as well.
