Job Summary
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and attending to their dining needs.
- Take orders accurately make recommendations and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages with attention to quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area including clearing and resetting tables.
- Collaborate with team members to handle guest requests and resolve any issues professionally.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards including responsible service of alcohol
- Assist with event setups and functions in the conference suites and restaurant
- Deliver in-room dining orders
What we are looking for
- Great communication skills presentation and confidence to engage with guests
- A genuine interest in food and beverage as well as in our local Melbourne area
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in restaurant bar service and events is preferred - a passion for providing great guest service is what will really make you stand out!
Qualifications :
- The availability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts including early mornings from 6 am late evenings up to 10pm and on weekends and public holidays
- Able to fulfill a roster of up to 30 hours per week
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handler qualifications (or prepared to obtain)
- Knowledge of HL point of sale system would be an advantage however not mandatory as training will be provided
- You must have current working rights in Australia.
