What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of campus buildings common areas parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring entrances checking identification when required directing visitors and assisting with wayfinding and campus rules as applicable.
• Complete routine reports and activity logs communicate observations to supervisors and/or site contacts and assist with crowd management during events or peak traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
