As a Security Officer - Grounds Patrol in Wilson NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol key areas complete routine rounds and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations use a computer or tablet for reports and provide customer-focused communication with employees and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses loading docks parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify identification visitor authorization and/or delivery paperwork in accordance with site procedures; direct visitors to the appropriate areas as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when required by post orders.
• Document patrols observations incidents and security-related activities in written logs and/or electronic reporting systems and report maintenance or operational concerns through the designated channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
