What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures including access control and visitor processing.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings tank farm and/or process areas parking areas and perimeter fencing noting unusual conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor alarms cameras gates and communication systems and respond to calls for service in a calm problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations by following post orders coordinating with onsite contacts and/or emergency responders and assisting with evacuations traffic control and area isolation as directed.
• Complete detailed daily activity logs incident reports and shift handoffs documenting patrols observations and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
