Job Summary
Field Technician
Location: Phoenix AZ
Tower Engineering Professionalsis seeking a full-time employee for a Field Technician in our Phoenix AZlocation. Tower Engineering Professionals offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental insurance paid vacation and holidays 401k with company match and a relaxed fun environment.
Responsibilities:
Field Duties (70- 80% of work time):
- Must be able to travel up to a total of 2 weeks.
- Must have a labor-intensive attitude and be capable of operating heavy machinery and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform maintenance on telecommunications towers.
- Must have the physical ability and the willingness to dig bend and climb inclines.
- Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely
efficient accurate and safe manner.
- Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OSHA COMTRAIN etc.)
Office Duties (20- 30% of work time):
- Upload photos of work completed.
- Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings specifications and design requirements
related to telecommunications commercial residential and light industrial applications.
- Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work.
- Review peer work product.
Qualifications:
- 1 year general construction experience preferred; some cell tower industry experience highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter team player and results oriented.
