Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Seattle WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an unarmed driving patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location you will be on the move conducting routine vehicle patrols staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and responding to calls for assistance. You will document observations communicate clearly with staff and visitors and support access points as needed. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications and assisting with crowd direction as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms concourses entrances and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe passenger and visitor activity verifying authorized entry where required and reporting suspicious behavior through established channels.
- Complete required documentation such as incident reports and patrol logs and communicate clearly with site representatives dispatch and/or local first responders as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
