In Long-Term Care settings youll perform essential responsibilities that keep residents safe comfortable and engaged. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy; perform comprehensive nursing assessments; develop implement and regularly update individualized care plans; monitor vital signs fluid balance nutrition and pain; provide wound and skin care catheter and ostomy management when indicated and timely infection control measures. Youll assist residents with activities of daily living fall prevention and mobility while fostering independence and dignity. Youll document clearly in electronic medical records communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team and participate in care conferences with families.
