SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER Las Vegas NV
Duration: 6 months with extension option up to 2 years
One (1) Position Available
US Citizenship Required

JOB SUMMARY:
Develop functional requirements documents (FRDs) and/or Project Requirements Specifications (PRS) for building utility equipment and infrastructure projects including project/task breakdowns identification of functional and non-functional requirements and developing conceptual visualizations and illustrations of the layouts site plans and other perspective views.

FRD/PRS development includes working with integrated project teams (IPTs) and stakeholders to capture their input research use of existing templates and previous projects performing FRD/PRS reviews and comment resolution and finalizing the document.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education: Bachelors degree in engineering or a related area and 13 years of practical experience.

Experience:
Engineering experience as well as general experience in building systems/equipment fire protection and utilities.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Area Security Access: Clearance not required. Uncleared.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A Professional Engineer license is preferred.
Experience with DOE sites and nuclear facilities is preferred.
