We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Auto Service Manager (MUST have experience with dealership & preferably with Chevrolet) to join our this leadership role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service department ensuring smooth workflow customer satisfaction and achieving revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the service department operations including but not limited to scheduling and workflow.
- Supervise and train service staff to ensure high-quality customer service.
- Develop and implement effective service writing practices to enhance communication with customers.
- Monitor repair orders for accuracy and completeness before finalizing services.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to services provided.
- Analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or similar role in the new vehicle franchise automotive industry for a minimum of 3-5 years.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Chevrolet dealerships a plus.
