Title: Sr. Business/Data Analyst

Location: Reston VA or DC (must be within driving distance)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Description

*Note: The Interview is ongoing.
Must Have Experience:

Prior Fannie Mae Freddie Mac or Capital One.
8 years of BA/Data Analyst background.
Strong SQL (complex queries joins and backend analysis).
AWS (RDS S3 RedShift PostgreSQL).
Mortgage/Loan Origination domain knowledge.

Preferred:

Exposure to Data Modeling requirements (not a modeler but a BA/DA in the modeling space).
Understanding relational/dimensional modeling.

Roles and responsibilities:

Gather/document business requirements and validate against AWS data.
Source to target mapping reconciliation and data validation/cleansing.
Work with Dev/Test teams and support Agile ceremonies.
Create SQL queries and prepare consumable data for business.
Compare/validate JSON & XML files.

Tools: JIRA Confluence MS Office Suite

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and requirement articulation.
Detail-oriented able to reconcile and validate data accurately.
