Job Summary

Job Titile: Solution Architect Cloud and Hosting
Location: Frisco TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months

What you will do:

As the Solution Architect you will

Develop and execute strategic plans and roadmaps to advance client IT infrastructure supporting current and future business needs.
Establish and govern enterprise-level standards best practices and processes for network architecture engineering and deployment.
Champion modernization initiatives including cloud networking infrastructure automation and AI fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Lead the evaluation selection and implementation of infrastructure technologies tools and vendors ensuring alignment with architectural principles and business objectives.
Partner with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements translate them into technical solutions and ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Analyze technology trends and assess emerging solutions to recommend and drive adoption of new capabilities where appropriate.
Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance requirements throughout all aspects of network architecture and operations.

Who you are:

Extensive experience in reviewing designing and implementing large and complex enterprise IT infrastructure-including cloud server compute storage.
Exposure to other infrastructure including: network database and backup.
Proven ability to define and implement hosting and cloud strategies and architectural standards at scale including documenting those environments and standards.
Demonstrated success leading large cross-functional architecture and engineering teams and working with diverse stakeholders including external partners and vendors.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for a variety of audiences and drive consensus.
Capability to analyze and translate business requirements into scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
Passion for mentoring developing talent and building high-performing teams.
Strong capabilities for leading architecture conversations working closely with stakeholders and leadership to understand the environment gather requirements and creation solutions that meet business needs.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure architecture and engineering
Demonstrated experience designing implementing and operating IT infrastructure including: cloud architecture server and compute database storage backup infrastructure automation and networking
Experience in managing teams working across multiple diverse technologies and operational environments.
