Job Description:

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role with no benefits. The location is onsite in Binghamton NY. Compensation is $30/hour. If you agree to these terms please proceed.

Lifecycle Desktop Support Technician -- This role will require that you travel once a month one day to Plattsburgh and one day to Mechanicville NY.

This role if for someone with prior Lifecycle desktop support experience (Hardware Replacement Windows Upgrades PC Refresh etc.) with experience supporting WIN7 / WIN10.

Qualifications:

Key skills: Windows 7/10 Office 2013/O365 mobile device management.
Hardware would range from desktops/laptops/workstations/ thin clients.
Knowledge of ticketing platforms is key and knowledge of ITIL fundamentals is a plus.
Prior experience Installing configuring and troubleshooting WIN7/10 desktops & laptops
Excellent Customer Service skills
Can manage small project teams
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Positive and professional demeanor
Basic Audio/Visual systems knowledge
Has 3-5 years of experience

Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
Resolve issues for clients via phone in person or electronically
Recommend hardware and software improvements
Track customer issues and resolutions
Accurately testing identifying repairing resolving and documenting end user technical issues regarding basic network/desktop/laptop support Printers iPhone and LAN cable drops.
Swap-Out and troubleshoot software issues.
Reimaging computers/hard drives
IMACD function including installation and decommission
Backing up and restoring user data
