Job Summary

Title - Market Research Analyst

Duration - 3 months

Shift - 8 am to 5 pm

Location - Dallas TX 75240

General Purpose

The Market Research Analyst is responsible for studying market conditions to assess the potential sales of our Portfolio. The successful market analyst will be able to analyze qualitative data trends strategies and competition with the objective to increase competitiveness and share for Client.

The Market Research Analyst:

  • Gathers and analyzes syndicated data to understand the current competitive landscape or the different products in our portfolio
  • Provides factual insights about the market conditions and the performance of our products in the market
  • Creates actionable recommendations to the RGM Sales and Marketing teams to attain market share objectives and enhance performance of our different brands
  • Designs and creates visual and graphic representations of their insights that can be shared with the rest of the organization
  • Conducts specialized and ad hoc analyses that are requested by different internal customers from executive to front-line leadership

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Performs analysis to understand the behavior of the business and competitors seeking to improve Client market share
  • Gathering data from internal databases to identify opportunities to determine adequate timely solutions that can be used as leverage to enhance clients market and value share indicators
  • Analyze and interpret market share information at the lowest level to communicate findings and recommendations to the different business stakeholders
  • Identify specific business opportunities and coordinate with different teams to produce better business outcomes in terms of our products performance in the market vs competition
  • Make recommendations and communicate the findings and plans to different levels of audiences in the organization with clear and concise actions to be taken in the market
  • Present findings to internal customers in an easy-to-understand way making sure that thy are accompanied by visual support when needed
  • Partner with the Marketing and Sales teams to develop plans and programs to drive Market Share growth providing with the necessary facts and information to create actionable and impactful plans

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in relevant field: Business Engineering Computer science Mathematics Statistics. Graduate Degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 1 year of work experience required preferably in market research business intelligence deep-dive analysis and project management experience
  • Strong business and operational knowledge desirably from working directly with the operations
  • Strong consultative communication skills preferably diagnosing data to develop successful growth strategies with clients.
  • Must be able to generate innovative ideas and solutions to address problems
  • Strong and proven analytical and critical thinking
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Proactive thinker and problem solver
  • Knowledge of visual tools such as: Tableau Power BI etc
  • Familiarity with Advanced Analytics tools of data warehousing and mining such as: Scala R Python SQL Matlab SAS SPSS Minitab Hive Hadoop Pig Tableau Spotfire etc
  • Proven comfort and an intellectual curiosity for working with large sets of data pulling in relevant team members to address identified and sometimes undiscovered needs
