You will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will also assist staff patients and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post so a valid drivers license is required. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings corridors waiting areas parking areas and perimeter spaces; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and calls for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed by post orders.
• Control access where assigned by monitoring entrances verifying credentials as required managing visitor check-in processes and documenting access activity per site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports and shift logs of unusual activity incidents and patrol observations; communicate relevant updates to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
